American National Movers has been providing long-distance moving services for 8 years, so we do have some complaints online as well. However, on average, we receive a 4.8-star rating in reviews across multiple platforms.
Nonetheless, we take complaints registered against our business very seriously and are constantly looking for ways to improve to avoid unhappy customers. In several cases, we do offer partial refunds if a customer has had a less-than-satisfactory experience—as long as it is within reason.

Current delivery windows on shared-load shipments
Shared-load (consolidated) shipments travel with other households on the same trailer, and dispatch once there is enough volume on your lane. Lane volume is running lighter than usual right now, so some shared-load shipments are delivering toward the later end of their contracted delivery spread rather than the earlier end. Your written spread does not change — but if you are planning around the earliest date in it, plan around the later one instead.
If your priority is speed and a firm delivery date committed in writing, we recommend a dedicated truck. Your shipment is the only household on the vehicle, it departs on your date, and it does not wait on other freight.

Some Reviews Linked By Gemini Are From Another Business
We also noticed a very concerning issue we are currently having with Google, where Gemini (their AI) is linking complaints to movers with similar names, but are not actually us. For example, a Reddit thread about National Moving Services is not our moving company; that's a separate entity. Another separate entity, American National Moving Co., reporting on Movingscam.com, which is another business, distinct from American National Movers LLC.
Not only is the Gemini experience not 100% accurate, but it is costing us thousands in losses due to consumers being confused to believe our word over an experimental AI. We have written Google and other affiliated entities regarding these reviews to see if we can come up with a resolution.

Here are some common complaints we have received, along with Their reasons (note that there are only a few).
While operating for 8 years, American National Mobvers has received three complaints on delayed delivery and 1-2 on estimate increases. Here is why:
Shared Load Moving.
American National Movers is recognized as one of the best long distance movers for small loads because of how affordable our rates are for smaller shipments. However, some consumers are not clear on how long it can take when combining your shipments.
Sharing a load for a cheaper price with long distance movers takes about 7-12 days for delivery, sometimes more if you're moving to an uncommon route, such as Montana or Idaho. For a quicker delivery, we offer the dedicated truck and direct shipping option, but it will cost an average of $6,000-$ 8,000 for a dedicated truck and direct delivery. As a result, many people prefer shared load shipping and then get surprised when the delivery takes more than 3-4 days.
How We Are Fixing This:
All sales representatives at American National Movers are instructed to be clear with the customer about the best and worst-case scenarios for delivery on a shared load. If the customer cannot be flexible with delivery, we offer the dedicated truck option, which has a more predictable delivery window.
Estimate Increases.
If your price is not binding, your moving estimate can change if your shipment weighs more than estimated. It is our responsibility to provide the consumer with a reasonably accurate estimate; however, if the customer fails to disclose all items that need to be shipped, this can lead to a billing dispute. As a result, we have gotten a couple of complaints on price changes, but they are never cases where the price doubles or triples after the goods have been loaded.
How We Are Fixing This:
To fix price estimate changes with the customer, we provide almost all of our long distance moving quotes at a flat rate. This way, we can determine a price that works for both the business and the customer, and we don't have to price loads based on weight or cubic feet.
American National Movers Reviews Generally Positive With Some Negative Feedback.
Compared to many national moving companies, American National Movers is highly rated, except for a few complaints online. When we do receive a complaint, we always attempt to resolve it with the customer. When considering American National Movers, rest assured that we take our reputation seriously and strive to provide great experiences. It saddens us when a consumer is not satisfied, and we will always do our best to rectify the complaint to make matters right.
